Delain的第一张专辑Lucidityzui最初预计于2006年4月发行，然而被推迟到了五月末，后来又被推迟到了8月21日，最后终于在9月4日面世。专辑样品歌曲已经通过他们的官方网站发出，以及完整的Sleepwalker's Dream 和 The Gathering, 还有歌曲 Frozen的 MV 。7 w# c& f' i/ `; ?
随着 Lucidity的成功，Delain终于转型为一个真正意义上的的巡演乐队，而不仅仅是一个试验组合。 乐队由 Martijn Westerholt(keyboard) Charlotte Wessels (vocals), Rob van der Loo (bass), Ronald Landa (guitar) 以及 Sander Zoer (drums)组成。其中只有前俩位出现在乐队第一张专辑上。/ h; T2 b3 n5 J- Z7 s3 j
2007末，Delain宣布他们将于2008发行发行第二张专辑，并开始现场演奏俩首新歌 "Stay Forever" & "Start Swimming". 2008年11月份，Delain官网透漏消息他们的新专辑 April Rain将于09年2月9日发行，他们也在荷兰电视节目里发送了一首新歌 I'll Reach You. 这首歌与后来专辑里的歌曲不符。& F9 h- }( [+ J8 v( s2 n, h
2010年2月Delain宣布他们正在筹备第三张专辑，而贝斯手 Rob van der Loo 由于时间原因将离队。同年3月份Otto Schimmelpenninck van der Oije 被宣布成为 Rob的替换者
