Cocteau Twins是支来自苏格兰的三人乐团。这群前卫音乐家们创造出了梦幻一般的奇异音乐。迷朦的气氛下优美夹着伤感，又流露出强烈的浪漫气息。天才吉他混音大师Robin运用大量噪音、延迟、回声、变形、电琴弓等手段营造出阴冷颓唐的旋律，再加上女主唱LIZ独一无二的、变幻莫测的、激情与技巧结合的声线使他们成为另类音乐界最美的声音。

极地双子星（Cocteau Twins）是一个苏格兰乐队。
- D1 s: F' I, S3 l- q1 \1 G4 w极地双子星基本上是个三人乐队。1981由吉它手罗宾·格思里（Robin Guthrie）、威尔·希格瑞（Will Heggie）和主唱伊丽莎白·弗雷泽（Elizabeth Fraser）组成。 Robin和Wil在酒吧结识了正在跳舞的Liz Fraser，把她招收为乐队成员。 1983年，推出Peppermint Pig单曲后，Will Heggie离开了乐队，另组LOWLIFE。之后极地双子星曾一度维持2人组型态推出作品。) A0 h4 u& @; o. u
