Antony and the Johnsons简介
% i6 t( c; f, k5 e5 M. C- `1 F来自纽约，却签约于英伦的厂牌下，长期在英伦进行自己的音乐创作。 这是个由9人构成的庞大的乐队，而在他们的歌曲中，钢琴、提琴、长笛、黑管等管弦乐占据着主要的位置，堪称一个小型的管弦乐团了。

- ` p: V5 L+ `5 ^乐队中的灵魂人物，主唱antony，是个在视觉上不太让人舒服的人物，相貌并不出众、外形颇为肥硕的他，却喜欢在舞台演出中把自己塑造成白粉涂面、雌雄难辩的形象。 而演绎出的温婉的歌声，却又与他的舞台形象那样的格格不入。
! i9 F# l- Q e! q( i: S% F初听他们的音乐，会想起那个在70年代叱垞乐坛的roxy music，但在旋律上却少了份roxy music的跳跃感，而antony的歌喉却绝对可以与brian ferry相媲美了。 他们都喜欢在歌唱中大量运用颤音，给人以一种绵柔的质感，而和ferry的温暖稍有些不同的是antony的歌声听起来是一种哀怨的感觉、旋律也大多似古老的悲伤的民谣。 因此a&j的音乐听起来更像是brian ferry单飞后的那些温柔小品了，而在歌曲中大量复古的弦乐与铜管的运用，也颇有60、70年代的风貌，别有一番韵味。( G- T M2 v1 w/ k
