Gotye，原名Wouter "Wally" De Backer ，出生于1980-5-21，比利时裔澳大利亚人，艺名Gotye，是一 Gotye名乐器家、唱作人。"Gotye" 由"Gaultier" (或者"Gautier"或者"Gauthier")派生而来, 对应法语名字"Wouter" (英语"Walter" ). Gotye的音乐被认为与Sting还有Peter Gabriel的音乐有相似性。

早期生涯

9 k$ [/ n9 k1 }7 E( g) yGotye在1980年出生于比利时的Bruges，在他两岁的时候，全家移居到了澳大利亚墨尔本。在他上学时，他的父母选择Walter作为Gotye的名字。! q2 Q9 \) n$ F* x2 b

2001年，Gotye录制了第一个音轨，03年，发行了略显稚嫩的第一张专辑《Boardface》。在06年，Gotye发行了他的第二张专辑《Like Drawing Blood》，经历成长的Gotye开始得到收获，专辑和单曲都取得了不错的成绩，为他的第三张专辑《Making Mirrors》的大获成功做好了铺垫。《Making Mirrors》发行于2011年，专辑中与Kimbra合作的单曲《Somebody That I Used to Know》在欧美各国取得优异的成绩，在多国的单曲榜登顶。
